Isabelle Moretti

Teaching at the C.N.S.M.D. in Paris was one of my dreams. In addition to being a world-renowned school of excellence, I am very conscious of the fact that it is a public institution and therefore financially accessible to the greatest number of students. It is therefore always with a spirit of gratitude that I have taught there since my appointment in 1995.

I am lucky enough to be assisted by Mrs Geneviève LETANG and we are all here, my colleagues and myself, to train you in the different aspects of the musician’s profession: orchestral playing, preparation for international competitions, chamber music, pedagogy, sight-reading, solo performance, and of course all the academic subjects. 

ACADEMIES & MASTERCLASSES

I also like teaching at academies and giving masterclasses. Their energy is very different and they allow me to exchange with students from all over the world.
